I've worked with the most awesome indie labels. Now with my new record “Blasted!” just off my lips, I wanna take all that awesomeness and keep a basket of my own. My wandering lifestyle has kept me at home on the road, and, judging from what I sing about, I struggle with a HOME identity. What came to me the other night is: HOME IS WHERE YOUR ART IS! I want to keep my label, Short Story Records, as a collecting home for everything I make. Let it be a nest for all of my eggs. Sit on them ‘til they hatch. Always have a basket to catch them. Anyone who joins the “BITCH’S BITCHES” club will have access to a secret site where I will do crazy exhibitionist things like post a poem once a week leading up to the album's release next spring. I will also let you see first all the videos I'm making including ones of me tap-dancing with my mother or interviewing Ferron.
